Assessing for Examination Access Arrangements
Assessing and making preparations for Access Arrangements can be one of the most time-consuming duties undertaken by a SENDCo or Learning Support Manager.
It involves: responding to initial concerns; liaising with key staff; identifying and seeking out further evidence of need; convening formal assessment procedures; building and maintaining a 'body of evidence of normal way of working'; making preparations for both in-house and external assessments.
